Laura’s Cheap Trick #34

Re-use the Tea Bag.

This started many years ago when my Oma would save her tea bags and use them until they barely made the water change color.

I am not a major tea drinker so I logged that in the back of my brain with a smirk and sort of forgot about it.

Last year we host a delightful your lady who loved her tea weak…If the tea bag was in the water more then 10/15 seconds it was too strong for her.  So it was easy to recall Oma’s reused teabag trick and we got about a weeks worth of tea for her without fail.

From a normal user I would recommend you could get at least 2 uses.  Keep a ramekin or small dish nearby to hold the bag til tomorrow and you are good to go.
