Laura’s Cheap Trick #67

Look for the defective model.

Outlets offer them, but often most stores will also offer the discount for a slightly defective product.  A small tear, the pattern that doesn’t match the typo on the label.  All sorts of small errors.  Keep an eagle eye out for the products you do purchase at full-price and don’t hesitate to ask for a discount on those that show up defective.
